Doing it Right It starts with a rod of 6061 aircraft aluminum. We machine this into a ergonomic pull handle with sculpted curves and two rubber o-rings to ensure a full seal on your oil pan. We offer these handles in our 3 favorite colors Red, Black, and Silver. Each looks good, but only one is right for your engine bay.

Next we evaluated materials for the stem. Many dipstick are made from flattened steel, why? Because its cheap and easy, that is not how we do things. Besides, we all know that when you scape your metal dipstick down the metal tube that you create metal shavings...that last thing you need in your oil.

 We found an advanced heat and oil resistant polypro that comes in a color that allows you to quickly and easily read you level on the stick instead of on the paper towel. The oil level gauge marks are laser calibrated to from the distance to the handle ensuring a correct measurement. The poly material is also extremely flexible and can be tied in knots and snap back into shape. It also memorizes the many contours of the MINI's oil pan shoot.   This allows us to guarantee the MINI dipper for the life of your vehicle, under normal use.
